Yin and Yang

So. David Cameron is our new Prime Minister. It would be an understatement to say I'm not happy about that.

However, last night I had a very, very nice dream about Pierce Brosnan.

So for one night at least, the Universe was in balance.

  2. I'm not a happy bunny either :0(

At least you had a dream about Pierce Brosnan - I can't say the same about me.

  3. Pierce Brosnan? He's not David Mitchell. Or Simon Pegg for that matter. Did he sing any Abba songs in your dream?

I'm still reeling from the past 24 hours' events.

  6. So sorry about that outcome. And the dream wouldn't have satisfied me too much, either; I've always thought PB to be the picture of pomposity and affectation. But that's probably because I never saw the Abba movie, or much of anything other than that awful American TV series about the detectives...

(Trying to figure out what the word verif - "horopast" - could mean...)

  9. He can't sing, you know. You'd have to use earmuffs.

  10. I'm so unhappy about it too. So, so unhappy. Scotland in particular is doomed, I say, doomed.

  11. It's to be devoutly hoped he didn;t try to serenade you. PB that is. I suspect if DC had opened his mouth he'd have only had words for his new BFF in the rose garden ...

I'm pretty horrified the election wasn't even mentioned at school - not party politics, obviously, but what better chance could they have had to explore the bizarre workings of our systen of democracy?!
