High on a hill

Ah, The Grandmother. Where would we be without her?

Not here.

Or here.

Sometimes it takes a shock to remind you what you really want. A couple of hours alone on a sunny day, on a hill we had never had the time to climb.

I want to thank everyone so much for the lovely comments on my last post. Blogland is truly a wonderful place. And those internet strangers? The best.

    2. Stunning pictures. I'm glad you got to go on a lovely walk. I've only just seen your last post. It's a perfect marker and it shows a very wise way of blogging. I'm keeping everything crossed for better news for you soon. x

    3. Sounds like you had a great walk. we had one recently - the first without children in about 8 years. I had forgotten how fast we can walk when it's just the two of us.

    8. I'm glad you've had a summit after crisis broke. Air, big air. And not a lonely goatherd in sight? Or was he lowly. Hardly, high on a hill. Lonely, lowly, high on hill. I'm off to bed. Hope you're already asleep!

    10. I tried to leave a comment on the last post but everything I wrote seemed trite as I can't imagine what you are going through. But here you are getting on with going through it and I wish every day could be as positive for you as that one.

    14. Lovely photos. I am behind reading your posts, I have conflicting feelings about blog vs diary and what i hold back and what i share. I hope your family are okay with all these cuts. Having worked in public sector I have friends facing some big decisions about taking pay cuts and having to reapply for their own jobs. NOt to mention losing some services we value and use frequently.
