Dear Santa

I would like a dressing table please

Not pork.*

Love, Eldest.

I hope Santa is better at reading her handwriting than we are.

  1. What, no Argos catalogue number? Mine are very very specific about their Santa requirements these days! Though if he's busy doling out bacon flavoured furniture, perhaps they are wise.

  2. No well lucky you said that, because I had put a nice chunk of bacon in the sack for her, but I'll give that to someone else now.

  3. Are you sure? Each of my boys has, over the years, expressly, asked FOR pork.

  4. I figured she was just throwing in a suggestion about Christmas dinner and what not to serve. Sort of like your own little Martha Stewart.

  6. If Santa brought a dressing table here, we would have to throw out one of the children to make space for it in their room.

  7. We went to the pub for lunch today. Mr P caught sight of the carvery and became almost ecstatic at the sight of the array of roasted meaty goodness. I am certain that if I gave him a dressing table made of pork he would be very very happy indeed.

  9. I always wanted a dressing table and would have settled on pink, but Father Christmas says no too, was what I was always told and to this day he is still saying no
