Is there nothing this woman won't steal?

We thought we would go camping in the rain. We thought this would be a good idea.

Faced with the prospect of Being Responsible for all the things we needed to take, we turned once again to Blog Theft. Enter The List Writer's camping list. Well, if you will put things on the interwebs, you've got to expect unscrupulous idlers coming and nicking your hard work.

This is what it looked like a bit later.

And this is what the Littlest Latte looked like, most of the time.

And do you know what? It seems that two nights on a wobbly airbed, under canvas, in a constant downpour, is just what my dodgy knee needed to start getting on the mend. I can put weight on it now, and even bend it a little. Happy times.

  1. I'm pretty sure I don't have to worry that you'll ever feel compelled to steal anything from MY blog.

Glad your knee is better. The petite latte is adorable.

  2. Oooooh, you are SO much braver than I am. I think I'd need to be seriously bribed (or possibly bound and gagged) before I'd sleep under canvas again. I have reached that age where the only bed I ever feel completely comfortable in is my own.

  3. PS Are you sure your knee is getting better or is it just that the camping induced additional ailments (trench foot, perhaps?) have taken your mind off it?

Seriously, I'm very glad it's on the mend. That's been quite a while now :-(

  4. Glad your knee is feeling better. I have a friend with knee trouble and I think I'll recommend to her to go camping in the rain for a few days. I'll report back to you on how it worked! :) Silke

  6. That's hysterical! Very creative re-use. What did you use carpet squares for? Just in case I am mad enough to go camping again any time soon.

  9. Even it helped a bad knee or bad back I am still pretty confident I cannot be talked into camping.

  11. How cool! Camping is known to be extremely good for the health (in a rather warped Baden-Powell, fresh air and itchy blanket kind of way). And I feel sure that camping in the rain is particularly medicinal.

Off to see if I can get a closer look at your version of my list. I might need to amend the master list....

Off to add them to the original list RIGHT NOW. Good addition, madam.
